Having Made 1,950 3-Pointers in NBA, JJ Redick Gets ‘Pleasantly Surprised’ by Nets’ 4-Year Veteran’s ‘Crazy’ Observation: “Shoulder Is Further Away From the Basket!”

JJ Redick is a basketball savant. The sharpshooter has a deep knowledge of the game, which he shares on his podcast The Old Man and The  Three. JJ was recently left surprised by Nets forward Cam Johnson’s knowledge. Cam who was the most recent addition to JJ’s podcast guests had lots of surprising observations. Surprising JJ Reddick isn’t an easy job, especially when it’s about shooting a basketball. JJ has an impressive 1,950 3-pointers in the league, a number that backs his legitimacy.

JJ and Cam had some interesting observations and truths about shooting forms in the league. JJ shared that players like him would often practice different shooting forms and releases to ready them for real-game situations. Cam also shared how even though all players have preferences, they always train other variations of shots to ensure efficiency during the game.

Cam appreciates JJ Redick for his insanely hard shooting technique

JJ Redick recently had Cam Johnson from the Brooklyn Nets on his podcast. JJ and Cam both who are sharpshooters had a great conversation about shooting tendencies and techniques. JJ was taken aback by Johnsons’ knowledge about his shooting mechanics. The ESPN analyst even invited Johnson for a workout after the show.

The Clippers shooting guard offered a reason for his unique approach:

For me, it was just simply a length issue. I am 6’4 with a negitive wingspan. If the defender is on this side (right side) then that gives me space to shoot. It’s easy being square to the basket going over your left shoulder and shooting from your right… Shoulder is further away from the basket!”

The Nets forward let the host in on a secret. The 27-year-old told JJ that it was Monty Williams who had told him about the veteran guards’ unique workouts and approach to shooting. Monty Williams is someone who has coached both Redick and Johnson. Though JJ was quick to warn everyone that his shooting style wasn’t for everyone and also pointed out to Johnson that, “It takes a lot of practice. It takes years.

Cam and JJ sight Ray Allen and Klay Thompson as references

Redick and Cam were all praised for two of basketball’s greatest form shooters, Ray Allen and Klay Thompson. JJ told Cam: “The two guys for me are Ray and Klay. Ray is good going anyway but the hop and the shoulder turn on the right. Also Klay, who creates like a foot of space when he goes right.”

Additionally, Johnson agreed with Redick, telling him that he would watch a lot of Klay Thompson game tape to study his shooting form. Surprisingly, JJ even invited Cam for a small workout after the podcast, and unsurprisingly the offer put a smile on Johnsons’ face

Veteran F1 Writer Is Bothered With No Team Principal Supporting Helmut Marko on His His Sergio Perez ‘Misspeak’

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has repeatedly slammed Sergio Perez for his driving after the Mexican failed to live up to the expectations set by the team. While Marko’s unfiltered remarks about the 33-year-old’s driving come as no surprise, it is the recent ‘South American‘ jibe that caught the eye of everyone. However, even though Marko’s remarks were highly controversial, veteran F1 writer Tom Rubython is surprised no one supported the 80-year-old.

Rubython believes that Marko clearly misspoke and did not mean to be insensitive. While Rubython wants people to support Marko, most of the others, clearly, do not share the same opinion.

Seven-time Drivers’ Champion Lewis Hamilton has slammed the Red Bull advisor for his remarks. The 38-year-old told Sky Sports (as quoted by ESPN), “It’s completely unacceptable what he (Marko) said“. Hamilton believes that apologies for such remarks are not enough and that stricter action must be taken against such individuals.

The Briton made his remarks soon after Marko apologized for his comments. The Austrian stated that his remarks were misunderstood and that he did not mean to be insensitive. With Marko having apologized, Rubython wants more people to support him.

Tom Rubython wants more support for Helmut Marko

Business F1 writer Tom Rubython shockingly wrote a lengthy article about why it disappointed him to know that the FIA warned Helmut Marko after his supposed offensive remarks. Rubython believes that the FIA does not respect the 80-year-old for his talents.

He is personally responsible for bringing the seven-time world champions, Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen into the sport. He has been a vital part of the rise of Red Bull Racing and its six Constructors’ World Championships. He’s also a very brave man and survived a terrible accident that cost him his career, explained Rubython.

After heaping praise on the Austrian, Rubython went on to state, “But none of this, counts for anything with the FIA. Only tiny misspeak and he is expendable, confined to hell, or so it seems. This is not the way for a governing body to behave and I deplore it“.

Rubython then added that he believes that Marko just made two mistakes. First, he stereotyped and second, he has an “uncertain grasp of geography“. The veteran F1 writer believes that with Sergio Perez also accepting Marko’s apology, he is surprised that no team principal supported the 80-year-old.

Perez keen to move on after Marko apologized to him

Soon after Helmut Marko made offensive remarks about his ethnicity, Sergio Perez revealed that he had a private conversation with the Red Bull advisor, who apologized to him. The 33-year-old believes that since the Austrian apologized, he is now ready to move on.

As quoted by ESPN, Perez said, “I have a personal relationship with him (Marko), and I think you always have that. You can always have those feelings when you see that sort of stuff. Knowing the person helps a lot because I know he doesn’t mean it that way“. Perez then concluded his remarks by stating that Marko’s remarks did not offend him “at all“.

While Marko’s remarks did not offend Perez, the FIA issued the Red Bull advisor a warning, much to the surprise of some. Tom Rubython is not the only individual who was surprised with Marko receiving the warning. ESPN commentator Fernando Tornello also believes that too much was made of the controversy between the two.

As quoted by planetf1.com, Tornello told Esto, “You’re making too much trouble over what he says. He’s simply a provocateur. What he really wants to do is to motivate the drivers, but he is very tough”. Tornello believes that Marko simply made such remarks to push Perez to “get more out of the car” and improve his performances.

Michael Schumacher’s Former Boss Tips Red Bull to See the Other Side of McLaren to Replace Sergio Perez

Buy Now

Oscar Piastri has been mightily impressive this season despite only being a rookie. He has managed to provide teammate Lando Norris a good fight at McLaren by outqualifying him on several occasions. Since the Australian has been so impressive, Michael Schumacher’s former team owner, Eddie Jordan, believes that Red Bull should replace Sergio Perez with him, as reported by Planet F1.

Jordan has made these remarks with the Mexican driver struggling immensely this season. Despite having the fastest car on the current grid, the 33-year-olf has just managed to win two races in stark contrast to Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen, who has won 13 races this season.

Jordan explains why McLaren made the right decision to extend Piastri’s contract

In the most recent episode of the Formula for Success podcast, Eddie Jordan named Oscar Piastri as a driver who is likely to be on the radar of most teams. After naming the Australian, the Irish businessman then praised McLaren for extending Piastri’s contract until 2026 to prevent other teams such as Red Bull from signing him.

He (Piastri) is the real deal. Full marks to McLaren. They have signed him till ’25 because they needed to because he will be a very sought-after driver,” explained Jordan (as quoted by planetf1.com).

Jordan then added that if he was in Red Bull and was thinking of replacing Perez, then Piastri is definitely one driver he will have in mind. However, with the Guadalajara-born driver having a contract until the end of next season, the Milton Keynes-based outfit will only consider signing anyone else for 2025 and beyond.

Red Bull have confirmed Perez for 2024

Despite all the widespread rumors suggesting that Red Bull may consider replacing Sergio Perez, the team have made it clear that they have no intention of sacking him until his contract ends at the end of next season. Following the end of 2024, the team stated that they will need to evaluate their options for the seasons ahead.

Since the seat at Red Bull is open for 2025, Oscar Piastri has a chance of signing for them if he continues to impress in his second F1 season as well. The Melbourne-born driver will be on Red Bull’s radar even though he has extended his deal with McLaren until the end of the 2026 season.

Despite Increase in Turnover by $39,000,000, the Aston Martin F1 Team Has Reportedly Posted a Loss of $64,900,000

After Lawrence Stroll took over Racing Point and rebranded it as Aston Martin in 2021, the Silverstone-based team had a great turnover the following year with the team and its F1 fraternity posting a turnover of $39,000,000 in 2022. Despite this, Aston Martin reported a loss of $64,000,000 coming into 2023, as per Motorsport.com

This has come amid Lawrence Stroll’s team’s trying to get into the championship mix in F1. In spite of having two bad years on the trot, Fernando Alonso helped the British team to their most successful spell in F1 to date, as they hold P4 in the 2023 championship with six races to go.

Because Aston Martin has been doing well, their overall sales have also increased. They reported a sale of $183,819,590 in 2021 which increased to $230,619,954 in 2022. With that, their overall cost of sales and team spending went to $185,656,528 from $131,501,341.

How did Aston Martin suffer the loss after the 2022 season?

The loss in annual turnover has come amid Aston Martin’s try to improve their F1 scenario. It is to be noted that they have improved significantly, and are no longer considered to be backmarkers, as they were in the previous two years.

As they targeted a better position in the F1 grid, they employed more employees back at the factory for development work. They had 403 people working for them in 2021, with the number increasing to 504 in 2022.

Furthermore, the overall cost of maintaining the staff has increased to $66,998,489, which was ten percent of last year’s expenses. Along with this, the team also spent a significant amount in their new factory back at Silverstone.

Nevertheless, the administrative expenses and other Government grants resulted in a loss of $64,500,474 in 2022, from $52,785,525 in 2021. In the end, the 2023 figure saw an overall loss of $64,900,000.

Despite the loss, how can Lawrence Stroll and Co. move ahead?

As Aston Martin established a state-of-the-art facility with cutting-edge technology at Silverstone with millions of dollars, Lawrence Stroll and the rest of the team expects them to get significantly better in the years to come.

Regarded as a game changer for the Silverstone-based team, the factory will house all the departments under one roof, something very much needed for Lawrence Stroll and his team.

This 37,000 square meter site factory has been a five-year plan for the team which is expected to push them towards contending for the championship in the next few years after this season’s struggle. Hence, despite their recent struggles, it is highly likely that the team will pick up pace once again.

“Far More Athletic Draymond Green”: Nets’ $18,857,143 Asset Reveals Ben Simmons’ Potential Despite Shaquille O’Neal Questioning $177,243,360 Contract

Buy Now

Brooklyn Nets’ Spencer Dinwiddie recently appeared on the Pat Bev podcast, where he spoke about his expectations from the upcoming campaign. Set to earn exactly $18,857,143 in the coming season, according to Sportrac, Dinwiddie spoke in detail about how Ben Simmons’ return and presence change things for his team. Simmons recently signed a $177,243,360 contract which was sarcastically mocked by Shaquille O’Neal due to the number of games he has missed. In the September 27, 2023 episode of the podcast, Dinwiddie sang Simmons’ praises and compared him to Warriors legend Draymond Green.

Dinwiddie talked about how Simmons has the same kind of skills as Green and is basically a more athletic version of the Warriors’ ace. The 30-year-old said that his team needed to floor the space better for Simmons, who has until now not had the privilege of playing alongside bonafide shooters such as Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.

Spencer Dinwiddie compares Ben Simmons to Draymond Green

While much has been made about Ben Simmons’ lack of playing time and shooting in the recent past, Dinwiddie decided to focus on his strengths. The number 1 pick of the 2016 NBA draft, Simmons is still one of the best rim protectors in the game.

Dinwiddie also praised his passing and the ability to hurt opponents in transition. He hoped that the Nets would be able to surround Simmons with enough shooting, and compared him to Draymond Green:

“I think when you look at Ben he is one of the best in rim protection, a monster in transition, he makes plays for others, so we hope that there’s enough shooting out there, there is is Mikhail and Cam Johnson obviously is a lead always shooting 45 from 3. I have been a good shooter in my career so we hope to space the floor for him. You gotta remember like, Ben in his best form is a far more athletic Draymond Green with less obvious 3-point shooting that Draymod is not a three-point guy, he hits it sparingly. He has never been fortunate enough to play with Steph and Klay obviously. If he had those kind of teammates, you would see the same kind of triple-double accolades.”

Dinwiddie went as far as claiming that Simmons would be producing triple-doubles like Green, had he been playing with shooters like Curry and Thompson too. He talked about how even Green was not the best shooter around. Still, people generally focussed on his strengths and not the obvious weaknesses.

Both the players are dominant defenders and dish out assists for their team. While Simmons might not have done justice to his huge contract until now, especially according to Shaq, his teammate was certainly hoping things would soon change.

Ben Simmons was sarcastically lauded by Shaquille O’Neal for his back troubles

Shaquille O’Neal had hilariously trolled Ben Simmons last season for his back trouble. Simmons had been accused of feigning injuries in order to get out of playing for the Nets.

During an interview, he claimed that he had a sore back and therefore could not play. In response, however, Shaq claimed that all NBA players have sore backs, and generally play through pain.

Shaq claimed that Ben’s actions did not warrant any respect and that he needed to get his act together quickly. A 3-time All-Star and 2-time All-Defensive player, Simmons obviously has the talent to succeed but has until now not had the kind of support that he requires on the court.

“He’d Probably Kick My B*tt”: Tom Brady Admits Wanting to Punch His ‘Little Brother’ Julian Edelman While Talking to Canelo Alvarez on Let’s Go Podcast

NFL GOAT Tom Brady recently sat down with renowned Boxer Canelo Alvarez for an interaction on the ‘Let’s Go’ podcast. While there were a lot of stories exchanged on the show, the most intriguing of them all turned out to be the one involving former Patriots WR Julian Edelman.

The 7x Super Bowl champion was asked during the show if he ever wanted to smack someone if he was a boxer. Responding to the query, Brady, without flinching even once, named his former receiver Julian Edelman as someone whom he would have liked to hit.

Tom Brady Wanted to Take a Swing at Julian Edelman

Tom Brady, who played with a number of superstars over his illustrious career, recently shared his thoughts on hypotheticaly taking a swing at someone, in case he was a boxer. Reflecting on the same while having a conversation with Canelo Alvarez on Lets Go! podcast, Tom said,

“I think Julian just had a shot up, Julian. I love him like he’s like my little brother. So I could never say he’d be the one if there was anybody. Not that there would be anybody, and Julie wouldn’t even get hit because he’d probably kick my b*tt. And Matt Cassel. That would be another man. I would definitely punch back Matt and maybe Julian, but definitely Matt. He threw me on the ground.”

Nevertheless, TB12 maintains enduring bonds with past colleagues such as Matt Cassel and Julian Edelman. Cassel admirably stepped up in place of Brady in 2008 when the GOAT suffered an ACL injury. Moreover, Edelman stood out among Brady’s top-tier receivers. Hence, it would be fair to assume that Tom’s reply on taking a swing at his former mates was all in good fun.

In fact, during the episode, Tom was not the only one who was asked this question. When Larry Fitzgerald was asked a similar question, he said, “I’ll put Kurt Warner on that list too; he got me upset a couple of times. CP (Cordarrelle Patterson) got me hot a couple of times, too, you know.” However, Fitz and Brady had a strong laugh about it later.

Tom Brady’s Astounding Post-Retirement Weight-Loss Journey

Tom Brady, the retired NFL legend with seven Super Bowl championships, recently disclosed on Let’s Go podcast that he shed a remarkable 10 pounds after retiring from professional football. Talking about how moving away from football helped him drop excess weight, the 46-year-old former quarterback said,

“Yeah, I’m down about 10 lbs, but I’m actually very fit right now. I haven’t had the stress that I had while I was playing so that’s allowed me to focus a little bit more on my physical health. But I think it’s important for everyone. Physical and mental health is so important to all of us. Without that, what do we really have?

Since stepping away from the game, Brady has focused on spending quality time with his family. He has also engaged in various business ventures, like buying minority stakes in the Las Vegas Raiders and Birmingham City while preparing for his imminent ten-year NFL analyst role on Fox Sports. However, amidst all this, he hasn’t stopped focusing on his health which is a fantastic sign.

‘Troubled With Fame’ Khabib Nurmagomedov Was Once Impressed by Dwayne Johnson and Cristiano Ronaldo

Khabib Nurmagomedov is an iconic UFC fighter. He achieved his fame due to his dominant grappling skills and his bitter rivalry with Conor McGregor. After his fight with McGregor, his fame was boosted to a great extent. It is often said that ‘Fame’ is easier to achieve but harder to handle. Nurmagomedov spoke about the matter during his appearance on the Full Send Podcast. In the YouTube video which was uploaded on February 3, 2022, ‘The Eagle’ spoke about how he was impressed with Dwayne Johnson and Cristiano Ronaldo for the way they handled fame.

Nurmagomedov has a very quiet and introverted personality. He prefers to remain away from the spotlight. This is why he doesn’t give many interviews or attend events.

However, on a rare appearance in a podcast with the Nelk boys, he gave insights regarding his personality and how he learns from other prominent personalities.

How Cristiano Ronaldo and Dwayne Johnson inspired Khabib Nurmagomedov

During the episode of the Full Send podcast, they discussed various subjects such as his retirement, post-fight brawl with team McGregor and his new business ‘Eagle FC’. One such interesting topic of discussion was regarding how lives change once you achieve fame and how to handle it. Khabib said:

I don’t think someone can handle this. I don’t understand, for example, like, Cristiano Ronaldo like The Rock like so many guys, like, they more popular than me I don’t understand. They more popular than me but how they living, I don’t understand this. Like, for me, it’s like very hard. I want to stay out, you know, with friends. But right now, I all the time stay home.” (37:50 – 38:43)

The Dagestani recalled how he was a street boy and used to stay out of his home most of the time. Before he became famous, he used to walk around the streets without the unwanted attention.

Nurmagomedov also mentioned how he is inspired by other famous athletes, such as Dwayne Johnson and Cristiano Ronaldo, who were way more famous than him.

However, now due to his fame, he has to stay home even when he wants to stay out with friends at times. He even gave an insight into why he chose to retire earlier than what many would have predicted.

How introvert Nurmagomedov felt after retirement

‘The Eagle’ broke the heart of many fans when he announced his retirement on 24th October 2020, after his win against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. Many experts, pundits, and even Dana White himself thought the decision was a premature one and persuaded him to come back.

Despite the efforts, Nurmagomedov stayed true to his decision. He even explained the reason behind it in an interview with UFC Russia. In his explanation, ‘The Eagle’ described how he was living the life of an ordinary person and not of a professional athlete.

According to him, the life of an athlete is somewhat close to being held in prison, as an athlete has to train, rest, and do the same thing again without slowing down. (H/T: MMA Fighting)

I am living the life of an ordinary person, not the one of a professional athlete. It’s (life of an athlete) like living in the same mode, at the same pace, not slowing down. Once you slow down, you are no longer a champion. So I have just released myself from this prison in a way.

The Eagle further stated that the champion inside him still misses the big stage. He explained how there are many moments when he yearns for the competitiveness. However, he does not regret making the decision to retire.

While the MMA community keeps bringing in the former lightweight champion’s decision to retire at a relatively young age, they do hail him for his undefeated MMA record and performances, which have given him a lot of respect and fame.

Despite Scope of Picking Thousand of Dollars, Lewis Hamilton Refuses to do One Thing to His F1 Helmets

Buy Now

Signed F1 helmets are one of the most precious memorabilia one can have. These helmets go up to astronomical amounts, with the most expensive helmet ever sold belonging to Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver’s signed helmet went for over $329,000. As such, one could only imagine how much Lewis Hamilton would fetch if he ever did the same, but the Briton recently revealed to GQ Sports that he is not in favor of adopting the practice.

Hamilton’s helmets have always been more than just a safety precaution. The design elements usually have a story behind them, making them much more special for the 7-time world champion. With endless design ideas to choose from, Hamilton makes sure to come up with the best and unique design.

Given the same, he is against using any ink on the helmets as Hamilton considers them sacred.

Lewis Hamilton not in favor of auctioning his helmets

As fans, one of the most special tokens one can have of their favorite celebrities is an autograph on an item of their choosing. While many would choose to get a T-shirt or a poster signed, some people get a bit more unique and get their body parts signed instead. Speaking to GQ Sports about the same, Hamilton revealed the one thing he would never sign and explained the reason behind it.

“The only thing I refuse to sign would be a helmet. I take a lot of pride in my helmets—that’s my jersey. I might have given two helmets away, to like my boss and a really dear friend who’s passed away now. Those are part of my heritage.”

With helmet auctioning being a once-in-a-while affair, helmet changing has become a norm in F1. Much like in soccer, when players exchange jerseys in a show of mutual respect, F1 drivers have adopted the practice of exchanging helmets as a sign of respect for one another.

The most prominent example of this practice came when Sebastian Vettel retired from F1 last year.

Sebastian Vettel changed helmets with drivers after his last race in F1

Sebastian Vettel‘s retirement from the sport was one of the most emotional and special memories in recent years. The memory became even more special because of what the four-time world champ had in store for the fans and the drivers.

In an iconic moment, Vettel changed helmets with drivers such as George Russell, Max Verstappen, and Lando Norris (amongst others) with personalized messages for each driver, making his departure even more special.

In fact, he even started the conversation by stating “I think you should quit your insanity forever and come back to being a good girl”.

Even After Bagging a Podium in Japan, Oscar Piastri Believes His Pace Wasn’t ‘Enough’ in Japan

Oscar Piastri had a spectacular weekend in Japan, achieving his first Formula 1 podium. Despite this significant achievement, Piastri felt his performance wasn’t optimal and believed he could have found more pace, as reported by Speedcafe.

The high tire degradation in the Suzuka Circuit is a challenge for any rookie, as Piastri himself admitted. He revealed that if he were to drive there again, his performance would likely be very different.

Piastri, reflecting on his performance, conceded that there’s room for improvement in his race pace, despite getting a podium finish. He expressed that if he had another opportunity to drive there, the pace would likely be different.

Oscar Piastri on how his pace needs improvement overall

Managing the tires effectively was crucial for all drivers at the demanding Suzuka circuit, especially given the conditions out on the track. Piastri admitted that he struggled with tire handling and finding the optimal pace throughout the race.

Talking about this, Piastri stated, “Tyre management and just pace at certain points of the race was not as strong as I would have liked,” according to Speed Cafe.

During the Japanese Grand Prix, Norris started to attack his teammate Piastri for P2on Lap 26, eventually swapping positions the following lap. Piastri was up against his own teammate, which added another layer to his performance assessment.

Piastri and his brilliant qualifying performance

Oscar Piastri was able to get past Lando Norris in the qualifying round, earning a front row start. Despite being a rookie, Piastri showed exceptional skill and determination, challenging the more experienced Norris.

However, with experience and superior speed, Norris was not easy to beat. Norris put a lot of pressure on his team, pushing a way past Piastri. The move was a calculated risk, as Norris had to stand in the process. But his confidence in speed paid off, allowing him to quickly regain his position.

Interestingly, the absence of the likes of the Ferrari and Mercedes drivers from this race was surprising. Their performance was much lower than McLaren’s, which gave Piastri a safe haven. Despite a commendable performance in qualifying, Piastri couldn’t help but feel a little satisfied with the circumstances.

Red Bull Has $2,459,000 Reason To Sack Sergio Perez To Favor Young Prodigy Liam Lawson

Buy Now

Red Bull Racing is already crippled with the budget cap punishment they received last season for their cost cap breach in 2021. Amid this disadvantage, Sergio Perez added more misery for the Austrian team as he incurred $2,459,000 worth of crash damages, as per an X post. Therefore, if the numbers go high and Perez fails to deliver time and time again, there are chances he might be swapped with Liam Lawson in the future.

The Mexican driver did not have the exact continuation of the season he wanted. Even though he began the season with two wins and two P2 in first five races till Miami, his performance dipped from there on.

With the drop in performance, there came numerous crashes which not only shook his confidence but also gave his team a huge bill to deal with. Therefore, this has certainly not been a positive situation for Perez.

How did Perez perform in 2023?

Perez currently stands in P2 in the driver’s championship with 223 points. However, he is 177 points behind his teammate Max Verstappen, who is one race away from claiming his third straight world championship.

On the other hand, Perez has seen multiple Q1 exits, finishes outside podiums despite having the mighty RB-19 underneath him, and numerous hard crashes that exposed the hard work done by Adrian Newey and Co.

The Mexican star stands third after Logan Sargeant and Lance Stroll when it comes to the cost incurred due to crash damage, according to an X post. It is not a bright sign for the 33-year-old against the young prodigy Lawson, who is having a fantastic debut at AlphaTauri.

What’s next for Perez and Lawson?

Despite multiple reports of Perez being replaced, Christian Horner and Helmut Marko constantly supported the Mexican star. Horner also mentioned that Perez will race for Red Bull in 2024.

As for Lawson, the New Zealander will have to make way for Daniel Ricciardo, who is expected to return after recovering from injury. However, he found himself a place in the team as the main team’s reserve driver behind Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.

However, if Perez fails to keep his P2 in the drivers’ championship this season, things might change drastically for him. As this will see the Milton-Keynes-based team lose out 1-2 finish in the championship yet again after last year’s loss to Charles Leclerc.

Amid Giannis Antetokounmpo’s $50,000 Lessons, Joel Embiid Naming Hakeem Olajuwon as ‘One of His Idols’ Resurfaces

Buy Now

Hakeem Olajuwon was one of the defensive legends of the game in the NBA. He was a two-time NBA champion and a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, which further complimented his prowess in basketball. Several players of the current generation were inspired by Olajuwon’s style of play, which includes current league greats such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, and LeBron James. James has even spent $50,000 for practice sessions with Olajuwon, to which Giannis also expressed his interest.

Amidst the ‘Greek Freak’s’ excitement to train with the Houston Rockets legend, an old 2017 clip of Joel Embiid claiming Hakeem as his idol has re-emerged on the internet, posted by the NBA’s official YouTube channel.

The Greek Freak believes training with other players in the league would make him lose his edge against them, something he is not willing to afford. But practice sessions with former players are never out of the question. Learning of LeBron James’ $50,000 lessons from Hakeem Olajuwon, Giannis expressed his readiness and excitement to try out the same.

Joel Embiid named Hakeem Olajuwon as one of his greatest idols

Being the current MVP of the league, Joel Embiid knows to draw his inspiration from the best. That is why he regards Hakeem Olajuwon as his greatest idol. Both Embiid and Olajuwon are two of the most famous African athletes to mark their stalwarts in the NBA. Speaking highly of the former Houston Rockets player, Embiid said,

“He [Hakeem Olajuwon] is one of my idols. And all the big guys, Tim Duncan. But that’s my favorite though, favorite all-time…. Hakeem is one of the guys I have always wanted to follow. He started playing basketball late and we are both from Africa. So we kind of have the same back stories. He is definitely one of my idols.”

Indeed, there are some startling similarities that Embiid mentioned between him and Hakeem Olajuwon. Both the players are from Africa- Hakeem from Nigeria and Embiid from Cameroon. They both started playing basketball late at the age of 15 and eventually made their mark in the league.

Embiid further revealed how he based his style of play on Hakeem when his coach in Cameroon gave him one of the Rockets star’s tapes. Joel watched that clip for six days straight every week, which helped him analyze and adapt Olajuwon’s moves to his style of play.

Though Hakeem has recently been a bit too harsh on Joel, he still has high hopes for the Cameroonian star. In the clip back from 2017, Hakeem saw glimpses of himself in the emerging Philadelphia 76ers star. He believed that Joel Embiid had all of the tools and talents that were required of him to excel in his game and contribute to his team.

Very recently, when Embiid won the MVP award this year, Olajuwon sent his flowers to him through Ahmad Rashad. In an interview with Joel, Rashad revealed the DM that he received from Olajuwon on his phone, wishing the 2023 MVP luck for the playoffs last season.

Though Embiid and his team could not progress further in the post-season, he definitely has the potential to shine and win a championship soon in the future.

Hakeem Olajuwon received backlash from Gilbert Arenas for his $200,000 practice lessons

Gilbert Arenas was very much against Giannis Antetokounmpo’s idea of training with Hakeem Olajuwon. In an episode of the ‘No Chill with Gilbert Arenas’ podcast, Agent Zero was concerned that paying $200,000 for training with Olajuwon was definitely not worth the money.

This is because of the generational gap in the style of play. Basketball, as a game, has definitely evolved from Hakeem Olajuwon’s peak to the current style. Learning Olajuwon’s ways of not playing post-up would do no good for Giannis in the long run.

However, Stephen A. Smith came in vehement criticism of Gilbert Arenas’ opinion. SAS claimed that Hakeem Olajuwon is a top-five center in the league’s history. Further, Olajuwon has also received high regard after training top athletes such as Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Carmelo Anthony.

Carlos Sainz Joins Novak Djokovic and Gareth Bale for a Unique All-Star Match

Carlos Sainz has more than proven himself as one of the best drivers on the current F1 grid. He has had several outstanding performances this season, with two of them coming in his last three races. At Ferrari’s home race in Monza, the Spaniard finished an outstanding third after having a cracking battle with teammate Charles Leclerc for the final podium. In the very next race in Singapore, Sainz proved his mettle by winning the race. The Spaniard not only was extremely consistent on that occasion but also produced a tactical brilliance to ensure that he finished ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton to win his first race of the 2023 season. While Sainz has been fantastic in F1, he will now face a new challenge when he goes up against the likes of Novak Djokovic and Gareth Bale.

The three sport stars will face each other in the upcoming all-star match of the Ryder Cup. The competition will also include other famous celebrities from other backgrounds such as music and cinema. The tournament will take place on September 27 in Rome.

Sainz will hope that he can perform at his best, having played golf on several occasions during his free time. When the 29-year-old is not racing, he often gets competitive while playing golf with his good friend Lando Norris. With the Spaniard often boasting about how good he is at the sport, his real test awaits.

Carlos Sainz will face Novak Djokovic in the Ryder Cup

The communications department of the Ryder Cup tournament has released the details of the upcoming competition. The all-star match will feature two teams: Team Monty and Team Pavin. Both Monty and Pavin are two former Ryder Cup captains whose teams competed against each other back in 2010.

Team Monty will also feature Novak Djokovic, who will team up with Kipp Popert and face the team of Carlos Sainz and Tomasso Perrino. Meanwhile, Gareth Bale will have the luxury of teaming up with his captain Monty to take on the team of Pavin and former Ukrainian footballer Andriy Shevchenko.

Fans in the United States interested in watching the event can access the live streaming available on the Official Ryder Cup YouTube and X channels. Since both Sainz and Bale are famous for their golfing skills during their free time, they will now hope to perform at their best in the upcoming Ryder Cup all-star match.

Sainz and Bale will hope to impress at the Ryder Cup

Carlos Sainz is all set to be under immense pressure when he competes at the upcoming Ryder Cup because of how often he has boasted about his golfing skills. Ahead of the Brazilian GP two years ago, the Spaniard boasted about how he beat his good friend Lando Norris at golf “by a mile“.

We managed to play a couple of rounds of golf, and I must say Lando had the pleasure to witness one of the best rounds of golf he’s ever seen as a golfer, thanks to my five over [par] with five birdies round. I managed to beat him by a mile,” explained Sainz.

The 29-year-old wasn’t done bragging just then as he told Norris (as quoted by gpfans.com) that the Briton had been lucky to watch the “amount of birdies” he hit in a round. Sainz then concluded his remarks by stating that ever since he thrashed Norris in golf, the McLaren driver had been “depressed“.

While Sainz definitely seems to be very talented in golf, Gareth Bale too has demonstrated his talent in the sport on several occasions. The former Welsh soccer captain is so talented in golf that he also made his debut on the PGA Tour earlier this year.

Moreover, the 34-year-old also went on to make headlines once when he placed golf above his soccer commitments. Despite previously playing for Real Madrid, which is arguably the greatest club in the world, Bale once infamously placed playing for Los Blancos as the least of his priorities.

He said (as quoted by en.as.com) that at the top is to represent Wales in soccer followed by playing golf, and last but not least, is his commitment to Real Madrid. While his statement undoubtedly received immense criticism, it did highlight his sheer passion for golf.

Kevin Hart is the host of the show Cold as Balls. To kick off its ninth season, Kevin Hart had Jayson Tatum as his guest. The Celtics star began the episode by giving Hart a Jersey that belonged to his son Duece. The jersey hilariously fit Kevin perfectly. But this wouldn’t be the first time the comedian has been teased about his height.

The recent installment of height jokes comes from none other than NBA star shooter Stephen Curry. The Warriors guard posted a video which was a snippet from Kevin’s new special ‘Reality Check.’ In the clip, Kevin Hart shares a story about being recommended height-increasing surgery by his high school classmate.

Jayson Tatum makes an appearance on Cold as Balls with Kevin Hart

Tatum was recently a guest on season 9 of Cold as Balls. The Celtics guard was quickly reminded that Kevin was injured and needed a double to do the ‘ice bath’. Tatum was kind enough to even bring Kevin Hart a gift. The gift was later revealed to be Jayson’s son’s jersey. Hilariously enough the jersey fit the host perfectly.

Kevin needed a little convincing from Tatum to try the Jersey, but in the end, Kevin decided to keep it on for the entire episode. Kevin’s double even stayed on for the complete episode, hilariously playing his role throughout. Tatum was suddenly asked what he worked on every day. Tatum after struggling with the question a bit, replied:

“Being the best possible dad.”

Kevin hilariously replied telling the Celtics forward:

I don’t give a f**k about my kids.”

Kevin even asked the All-Star forward if he believed that he was a top 5 player in the league. Tatum answered the question confidently, telling Hart, “Yeah absolutely!”

Height isn’t a barrier to Hart’s NBA dreams

The list of celebrities that have roasted Kevin Hart for his height is pretty long. From the comedic goat Dave Chappelle to pop star Justin Bieber, Kevin’s height has often been the bud of the joke. He even recently did a photoshoot with Steph Curry which comedically led to a video that focused on the immense height difference between the two celebrities.

Kevin Hart is someone you can often catch at NBA games. He not only attends 76ers games but also plays in the All-Star celebrity games. Kevin has also taken the Celebrity Game MVP award home the most times, with a total tally of 4 times. But for the time being, Hart seems to have hung up his sneakers as the world awaits the launch of his new special.

Sergio Perez Vows to Become a ‘Cheerful Father’ for His Family After Opening Up on Mental Health Struggles in F1

In the high-speed, high-stakes world of Formula 1, the mental fortitude of drivers is often overlooked. However, a growing number of drivers, including Lando Norris, Valtteri Bottas, Daniel Ricciardo, and now Sergio Perez, have opened up about the mental challenges they face. Recently, it was Perez who spoke about the same, as reported by De Limburger.

Being Max Verstappen’s teammate at Red Bull Racing is no easy task. Perez, who is currently partnered up with the Dutchman, insists that it takes a huge toll on his mental health. This is mainly because of how superior Verstappen is. Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon also struggled to match Verstappen’s performance level during their time at Red Bull. Perez has also been facing similar problems since joining the team in 2021.

He admits that driving alongside Verstappen requires great mental toughness. The ability to give 100 percent every weekend, regardless of his position, as Verstappen does, is tough.

Sergio Perez, a family man in the fast lane

Sergio Perez, known for being a family man through and through, is a father to three young children, one of whom was just born. Balancing the demands of a high-pressure F1 career with family responsibilities can be a daunting task. Perez has been candid about the mental strength required to survive in the competitive environment of Red Bull.

According to RBR daily on Twitter, Championship struggles made it difficult for him to deal happily with his wife and children at home. Seeing the impact this was having on his family, Perez decided to seek help from a therapist. Under his therapist’s guidance, Perez is working to be the best version of himself both on and off the track. This journey has allowed him to rediscover positivity and bring that energy into his own life.

Even at 33, Perez insists he still learns every day, both in Formula 1 and in life. This continuing education feeds his passion for the sport and provides him with amazing experiences.

Having Max Verstappen as teammate is extremely difficult for Sergio Perez

Sergio Perez recently spoke about his experience as a team-mate of Max Verstappen, describing it as a tough effort. However, he also expressed admiration for Verstappen’s dedication and the way he pushes himself and his team-mates to the limit.

Perez acknowledged the difficulty of being Verstappen’s teammate but valued seeing his talent, hard work and unwavering focus. He also considers himself luck to be working with a driver as great as Verstappen.

Perez acknowledged the immense pressure that comes with having a teammate who consistently delivers exceptional play and gives his all on and off the track. Currently, Perez is P2 in the championship, unlike his teammate Verstappen, who is sitting miles ahead in F1. Verstappen is likely to seal his third consecutive world title in Qatar in two weeks time.

“Back To Generally Anonymity”: Former NBA Coach Publicly Throws Shades At Oregon Coach While Backing Deion Sanders After Loss

Many people have come forth in support of Deion Sanders after the loss of Colorado, calling out the hypocrisy of Oregon coach Dan Lanning. Lanning in his pregame speech said that Coach Prime was fighting for clicks but they were fighting for wins while being on camera and ironically the clip got a lot of clicks. One of the people calling him out was former Denver Nuggets coach George Karl.

Karl took to Twitter (now X), to slam Lanning for his comments on Coach Prime. He doubled down on his approach after tweeting that the Oregon coach was back to anonymity while Coach Prime is still making headlines despite a big loss. Prime is certainly a phenomenon, and an influence over the masses with his bold and old-school style of coaching which is only bringing positive impact on the city of Boulder. However, watching him gain such authority so quickly has prompted his opponents to fire shots at him before every game.

Denver Nuggets Ex-Coach Throws Shades At Oregon Coach Dan Lanning

George Karl certainly wasn’t impressed with that remark on Deion Sanders. Watching the coach make such comments while being on camera made the coach tweet, “This is BS. He knew he was being filmed!” Many Ducks fans fired back at Karl for his tweet, so he had to make sure he doubled down on his comment.

He later made another tweet this time backing up Deion too, “I literally can’t remember the name of the Oregon football coach anymore. Back to generally anonymity. Maybe he needs more clicks? But everyone still remembers Coach Prime and the impact he’s having on his program and college football. Keep doing your thing, Deion!!”

It was certain that shots were being fired but this time he used coach Lanning’s words against him. The Oregon coach who does not believe in the power of social media to leverage his program hasn’t been heard of yet talking about the game after the win. While on the other hand, Coach Prime is taking this moment to show the world just how tough his team is.

Deion Sanders Responds To George Karl

After George Karl’s encouraging words, Coach Prime was filled with emotions and he took to X to thank the former Denver Nuggets coach with a short but sweet tweet. “Love ya man and God bless u!” Prime wrote.

It cannot be put into words what magic Deion Sanders has brought with his clicks to Colorado. His ingenious marketing strategies have not just led players to bag more NIL deals but also brought $18 million in business in just one week. Not to mention his viral sunglasses that started an internet trend because of his social media influence.

Joel Embiid Responds to Harsh Shaquille O’Neal Criticism Months After His ‘A** In the Paint’ Comments

The 2023 MVP Joel Embiid recently appeared in an interview with Ahmad Rashad as part of NBA Rewind. In a candid conversation with Rashad, Embiid talked about a variety of topics, most importantly, touching upon Shaquille O’Neal and Hakeem Olajuwon’s criticism of his post-play. Shaq has always been critical of the current generation of centers and has often criticized Joel Embiid for being one of them.

Currently, with the rise in three-point shooting, the dominance of the centers has largely dwindled in the league. The new breed of big men, including Joel Embiid find it hard to fit with this system, thus coming under the radar of criticism from legends such as Shaq and Olajuwon.

Just a few months back, Shaq had called out Joel, asking him to “get his a** in the paint,” to which, the current MVP replied in the interview with Ahmad Rashad.

Joel Embiid replies to Shaquille O’Neal and Hakeem Olajuwon’s criticism on his post-play

During the interview, Joel Embiid spoke about his plays as a center and how he drew inspiration from greats such as Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaquille O’Neal. However, when these legendary players criticized him on his post-play, Embiid had the perfect explanation to back his stance.

“I was kind of disappointed from what was said a couple of weeks ago because he [Hakeem and Shaq] doesn’t owe me anything. I just felt like the advise that I have got from the bigs from the past that dominated the league, whether it was Shaq or Hakeem. It was always about whether you live in the post, whether you dominate the post. But the way the game spreads these days, it’s kind of hard to live in the post. It’s impossible, it’s easier to double. It’s not good offense, so that’s why you have to be good inside and good outside too. What is said, I was kind of disappointed because I can do that, but that’s just not gonna help my team.”

Indeed, the dynamics of the league have changed quite much, with only a few centers retaining the classic style of play from Shaq and Hakeem’s era. Nevertheless, this was not the only criticism Shaq had for Joel Embiid. The Diesel once claimed he would cook Embiid like barbeque chicken if he ever played against him.

Shaquille O’Neal once claimed to cook Joel Embiid like ‘BBQ Chicken’

Shaquille O’Neal has been constant with his criticism of the current generation of centers. He had criticized Dwight Howard in the past and has recently been pulling shots on the 2023 MVP, Joel Embiid. The Big Fella once shared an Instagram post that claimed, “Joel Embiid would lock up and contain Prime Shaq.”

Taking a screenshot of that post, the four-time NBA champion posted it on his own Instagram with the words, “Hold up.” He then asked his fans their opinion with the caption, “i like these conversations. give me your thoughts. you already kno mine. #barbecuechickenalert.”

Perhaps, if Embiid were to face the prime Orlando or Lakers Shaq, definitely he would have to prepare from days ahead to make his mark in this matchup.

Copying Carlos Sainz’s DRS Masterclass Was a Mistake by Mercedes; Argues Lewis Hamilton

Buy Now

Mercedes’ decision to use the DRS to help George Russell defend against Carlos Sainz backfired and has come under scrutiny. In the end, a tactic that aimed to keep Sainz at bay, allowed the Ferrari driver to overtake Russell. Lewis Hamilton slammed the team’s decision to implement this strategy, saying it made no sense, as per Race Fans.

In Singapore, this strategy effectively created a buffer between Sainz and the pursuing Mercedes drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. However, when Mercedes tried to replicate this strategy with their own stars, it didn’t work out as planned. Despite having an active DRS, Russell was overtaken by Sainz

As a result, seven-time world champion Hamilton has criticized the team’s decision, saying that he’s disappointed with how they were thinking.

Lewis Hamilton on why the strategy in Japan didn’t work

Hamilton was asked to slow down to allow Russell to get within 0.8 seconds for DRS activation, but this led to Sainz overtaking Russell, which The Briton saw as inevitable due to their different pit stop strategies. It also allowed Sainz to close in on Hamilton, making the last few laps challenging.

Hamilton stated (as reported by Race Fans), “When they suggested it to me, I knew that they had obviously thought of it from the last race and it made no sense.”

Hamilton suggested that if he swapped positions with Russell earlier, the latter might have had a better chance of staying ahead of Sainz. He felt that Russell’s attempt to compete with him only complicated matters and damaged his tyres.

Mercedes and their failed one-stop strategy

Teams usually go for a two-stop tire strategy in Suzuka, which allows the cars to push at the end. This method allows teams to use fresher tires every stint, giving them a speed advantage over cars with older tires.

Russel decided to go against the flow and opt for a one-stop strategy. This move exposed him to attacks from cars on fresher tyres. Despite this, Russell believed that the one-stop strategy was the better option as far as Mercedes was concerned.

However, this strategy did not work out as expected. Russell found himself on old tires and under pressure from other drivers, including team-mate Lewis Hamilton. Despite the challenges, Russell acknowledged that it was the right decision and that it was worth the risk.

In the end, Mercedes’ failure and Max Verstappen’s victory was enough to seal Red Bull’s sixth constructors’ championship title at the end of the 2023 Japanese GP.

Alex Brundle Advices FIA to Implement Le Mans Rule in F1 to Not Replicate Red Bull’s Mockery to Sergio Perez Penalty

Buy Now

The 2023 Japanese Grand Prix saw Red Bull use a loophole and save Sergio Perez from getting a grid penalty in the upcoming Qatar GP. In doing so they made a mockery of the FIA’s rulebook. Now Alex Brundle, as per F1 TV, thinks that the governing body should bring in a rule similar to what 24 Hours of Le Mans follows, in order to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

The Austrian team pulling off such a move was regarded as very clever by experts and fans alike. Since what happened was technically not illegal, many praised them for their smart thinking. It saved Perez from getting a grid drop in Lusail, which could have been catastrophic for the team. Some, however, have also criticized Red Bull.

Like other experts, Brundle, who is also a racing driver, feels that the move pulled off by Red Bull with Perez was not right. Therefore, he called in to bring immediate changes to put a stop to what Red Bull did. Brundle doesn’t want to see this repeated in the future.

Brundle suggests FIA to bring Le Mans rule to avoid Sergio Perez loophole

During the post-race show of the Japanese GP, Brundle, Pietro Fittipaldi, and Will Buxton discussed the ‘immoral’ move pulled off by Red Bull. There, Buxton asked Brundle to give his take on it.

Replying to this, the F1 expert stated as per F1 TV,They haven’t broken the rule as they stand, No. But I’m gonna go for a gap here and bring Le Mans.” Following this, he mentioned how the rule works in Le Mans.

Brundle said that according to the rule, a driver must complete a certain amount of distance after coming out, otherwise it will be considered a DNF. Nevertheless, the FIA indeed took measures to stop such kind of loopholes from being used by the team in the future.

What measures FIA trying to bring?

According to Junaid Samodien, Sky Sports’ Ted Kravitz revealed that the FIA allowed Red Bull to restart Perez’s race but they also informed that in the future they will not allow the same to happen.

However, according to the Fastest PitStop and Mirror F1, FIA denied making such a claim and said that they would not be rushing to make any rule changes.

Nevertheless, keeping aside the controversial move by Red Bull, Sergio Perez needs a strong finish to the 2023 season. He needs to make sure he finishes the season in P2. Otherwise, there is a high chance that he will be sacked ahead of the start of the next season.

“The Drivers Don’t Learn Anything”: Alex Albon Calls for Harsher Penalties After Sergio Perez Goes ‘Unaffected’ in Last Two Races

Buy Now

In Japan, Red Bull were accused of mocking the FIA for how easily they made Sergio Perez go unaffected with his penalty. Alex Albon, having first hand experience of it, suggests, as per the Motorsport Total, that the governing body has to give harsher penalties as drivers are not learning anything from their careless actions.

Perez went rogue in Singapore, where he cost Yuki Tsunoda his race. Then, by colliding with Albon, he made the latter lose out on a points’ finish. He got a penalty for his actions, but he remained unaffected and got the best possible result. In Japan, he got two five second penalties, which would have turned into a grid penalty in Qatar as Perez retired midway thorough the race.

However, Red Bull sent him back and avoided a drop in Perez’s start position. So, in reality Perez saw no consequences after colliding with Lewis Hamilton on lap 1 and then with Kevin Magnussen later in the race. That has raised some eyeballs, including Albon’s.

Alex Albon calls for harsher penalties

With the Williams driver being a witness and a victim to Perez’s wrath, he has come out to claim that the penalties are too weak to hurt drivers for their actions. Thus, the intensity of penalties should be increased.

“In turn 11 [at Suzuka] he did the same maneuver against me on the track. I was able to avoid it. And then he did it again to Kevin [Magnussen]. I was behind him, so I had the best view. The drivers don’t really learn anything [from the penalties] because the penalties aren’t severe enough,” said Albon.

With five second penalties becoming more observably redundant, the governing body may take some action. It’s apparent after they plan to crackdown the loophole that Red Bull used to avoid the grid drop in Qatar.

Ted Kravitz reveals how Red Bull can’t do what they did

After the race, Sky Sports presenter Ted Kravitz gave a huge update on Red Bull using the loophole to rescue Perez from a grid fall in Lusail. According to him, the FIA will close this loophole from next race onwards. If the certain infringements are not served before the car is taken down, a grid penalty will be imposed.

In short, a driver can’t join the race back to serve a penalty. They will have to face the consequences in the next round. Nevertheless, Perez gave no contribution to Red Bull on Sunday.

However, they still managed to outscore Mercedes, which they only needed to do in Japan to seal their constructors’ title, with Max Verstappen’s win alone. And now, Qatar will most probably see the Dutchman sealing the drivers’ title for himself.

Union was seen gushing with happiness after Natalia’s debut appearance for Versace.

The Wade family has always been close with the Bryants, even when the Mamba was alive. Gabrielle Union has developed a special connection with Kobe’s eldest daughter Natalia, whom she loves and adores a lot. Hence, it’s no big surprise that she was present and gushing over Natalia’s debut ramp-walk stint in Milan.

Gabrielle Union gushes in happiness for Kobe Bryant’s daughter Natalia Bryant’s significant new career landmark

Natalia Bryant has taken a break from her studies at the University of Southern California to walk for Versace’s spring 2024 show during Milan Fashion Week. This is Natalia’s first rampwalk and her debut in the fashion industry since she signed with IMG Models in 2021.

There were many heads turning during Miss Bryant’s debut catwalk performance. One of the prominent supporters for Natalia in the audience was Dwyane Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union. Union said she was gushing with happiness seeing ‘Little Natalia’ grow up and achieve landmarks in her career. Expressing her thoughts to WWD, Union said,

“And I got to see my little Natalia do her first. Like, walking her first show and her first big, big show. So that was exciting. And some of my favorite models were walking. So that’s really exciting. Thank you!”

A lot of the credit for Natalia’s milestone should also go to her mother, Vanessa Bryant. Natalia says that her mother encouraged her to develop her own style on the ramp. However, in inculcating discipline, Vanessa did provide some much-needed dose of tough love to Natalia. Surely, Kobe Bryant would have been very proud to see his daughter achieve a significant milestone in her career.

Natalia Bryant recently interned with Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment for six months before landing the Versace gig. Beyonce shared the credits for her Renaissance World Tour on her website, which gave a shoutout to every person involved in the tour. In the name among interns, one could also find Natalia’s name as an intern.

Ahead of this, Natalia was also part of the famous Hall of Ivy commercial for Adidas, which announced the launch of Beyonce’s Ivy Park collection. The commercial featured Beyonce’s 9 and 4-year-old daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi, alongside famous NBA star power such as James Harden. Natalia looked fierce in this commercial’s appearance, which might have landed her the Versace gig subsequently.
